EQ and Conflict Management Essentials
EQ and Conflict Management Essentials is a 1-day instructor-led training designed to help professionals manage workplace conflict with emotional intelligence, clarity, and confidence. Conflict often reveals deeper emotional and organizational issues, and this course equips participants to respond thoughtfully rather than react emotionally.
Participants explore the five components of emotional intelligence, emotional regulation techniques, and the psychology behind conflict and human behaviour. Using frameworks such as the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Resolution Model, ANBES negotiation approach, and the Korean concept of Nunchi (“reading the room”), participants learn to resolve disagreements while balancing business outcomes and emotional needs. Through simulations, role plays, and reflective exercises, this program helps build psychological safety, strengthen trust, and create healthier, more productive workplace relationships.
At its very essence, conflict management is the test of a person’s emotional intelligence. It also presents moments of truth where parties involved get to learn who they – and other people – really are, and what the underlying issues in the organization that require further attention may be.
Unlike other typical conflict management programs, this two-day workshop will take participants through a deeper dive into the psychology of disagreements and human behavior. This equips participants with a deep understanding to respond authentically and effectively to conflicts – ensuring that both the business and emotional needs in the team are taken care of.
The result is a healthier workplace culture, higher employee engagement, and more sustainable productivity and performance.
