Power Presentation Using Storytelling
Power Presentation Using Storytelling is a 2-day course designed to help professionals create and deliver more engaging, persuasive, and memorable presentations. Participants learn how storytelling, pictures, and metaphors can transform complex or mundane information into clear and compelling messages.
The course covers storytelling fundamentals, story structures, audience connection, creative ideation, and practical presentation techniques for meetings, speeches, presentations, and boardroom discussions. Participants learn how to develop a story bank, structure ideas using the Three-Scene Act, Story Web, Four-Step Narrative, and Reverse Four-Step Narrative, and use the 7Ps of great storytelling and presentations to improve delivery. Through practical application, participants strengthen speaking confidence, stage presence, creativity, audience engagement, and their ability to communicate ideas persuasively inside and outside the organisation.
In this 2- day course the participants will examine how stories, pictures and metaphors work: why they work, what form they take, when to use them, and who they appeal to. They will see how to use expert story-telling techniques to bring a potentially mundane presentation to life: how the same techniques work from the speeches to the boardroom. Applying the story- telling techniques will help the participants to overcome many of our most common public speaking and presentation issues and concerns such as long and unstructured presentations, nervousness, not having the right words to say, failing to attract or keep the audience’s attention or not being able to deliver a clearer or memorable message. In addition, the participants will learn new skills and techniques to speak clearly, explore best practices for communication and content delivery, during the lessons the participants are taught how to unleash their creativity and confidence to help drive discussions at presentation, in public, in the office, board rooms, meetings and discussion rooms with internal or external parties.
