Work Automation with Gemini
Work Automation with Gemini is a 2-day instructor-led training programme designed to help professionals use Gemini and the Google Workspace ecosystem to automate repetitive work, improve productivity and create more consistent business outputs. Participants learn structured prompting, Gemini personalisation, NotebookLM knowledge bases, AI-assisted Google Sheets, reusable Gems, deep research and no-code automation with Google Opal and Workspace Studio.
The course also introduces Apps Script automation through Vibe Coding, including email management and lead scoring, before progressing into agentic AI and human-in-the-loop governance. Through practical exercises, participants learn how to apply Gemini to reporting, documentation, communication, knowledge management and workflow automation while recognising AI limitations, hallucination risks and the importance of human oversight.
In today's fast-moving workplace, professionals across every function are expected to work faster, communicate more clearly and manage a growing volume of reporting, documentation and daily correspondence. As these responsibilities continue to expand, the ability to apply Generative AI systematically, rather than relying on ad-hoc prompting, has become a practical necessity for sustaining productivity across teams.
This 2-day programme introduces participants to Gemini and its broader ecosystem within Google Workspace, moving from foundational prompting and personalisation through to structured automation using NotebookLM, Gems, Google Opal, Workspace Studio and Apps Script. Participants will learn to select the right Gemini model for the task at hand, personalise Gemini through connected apps, custom instructions and memory, consolidate departmental knowledge into NotebookLM-powered knowledge bases and chatbots, and design reusable Gems and automation flows to reduce repetitive daily work.
The programme reinforces responsible AI use throughout, including the data exposure trade-offs of connecting apps and personal data to Gemini, the importance of recognising hallucination risk when interpreting AI-generated content, and the need for human oversight when automating stakeholder-facing or business-critical outputs.
Through structured modules and hands-on exercises spanning knowledge management, spreadsheet automation, reusable Gems and no-code workflow design, participants will leave equipped to embed Gemini into their daily responsibilities as a practical, repeatable productivity layer across their function.
